FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
You don’t know what to expect when you show up and are hoping that it won’t stink, right? We really want your experience here at Elevate to be awesome and we work hard to make that happen. Here are a few frequently asked questions. If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.
WHAT'S ELEVATE LIKE?
We work diligently to make Elevate a church that people want to come to. Our weekend services are welcoming and encouraging. You will feel relaxed, the atmosphere will be energized, and our plans are always a bit unpredictable. We intentionally work to engage all senses (sight, sound, smell, taste, feel) to stimulate a spiritual hunger within every person that steps through the doors of our building. We contend for the Spirit of God. We are deeply relational, and we attempt to provide a sense of belonging and connection for every person. We are on mission to change the world one person at a time.
HOW LONG DOES A SERVICE GO FOR?
A service runs for approximately 90 Minutes.
CAN I SIT ANYWHERE?
Yes! Our friendly usher team is there to help you find a seat.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Dress comfortably. The pastor usually wears jeans and a nice shirt but you can wear a t-shirt or a tie if you want. The important thing to us is that you are able to be yourself.
DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING FOR MY KIDS?
Yes! There is a check-in process as you walk into the lobby. From there, you will be directed to either our Nursery/Pre-K area or instructed about when your child will join the 1st-5th grade classroom where your children will hear a lesson from the Bible in an enjoyable and age appropriate way. You will most likely meet one of the Sunday School teachers on your way into the building.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?
Our church is an industrial warehouse transformed into a worship center. It’s totally not your typical church building–but hey, we aren’t a typical church. So when you walk in, you’ll follow the lobby straight into our auditorium. If you happen to come early you’ll be treated to a cup of coffee from our coffee bar where you’ll be sure to make a few new friends. Stop by Guest Central in the lobby and a host will help you through the process!
ARE THERE ANY SERVICES DURING THE WEEK?
We have an interesting midweek schedule. We have a general adult Bible Study that meets in a 2nd warehouse facility, 'The Vault', an exciting Student Ministry that meets on Friday, and an interactive children’s club-type program called eKIDZ. It is a busy night for sure! We also have numerous small groups known as H.U.B. Groups (Helping Us Belong) meeting throughout the week all around Orange County.
